NEW VR EXPERIENCE AT DOLPHINARIS ARIZONA OPENS EYES TO THE URGENCY OF OCEAN CONSERVATION

As we enter the uniquely alluring VR exhibit, we board an actual boat to embark upon a virtual journey beginning on the beautiful waters of Cancun—soon followed by an exploration of what lurks below: a vivid, 360° view of pollution’s impact on sea life.

This new virtual reality experience at Dolphinaris Arizona, called INTO THE BLU, is a powerful way to educate the general public—particularly young people—about the dire state of our oceans and how we can turn the tide.

Visitors are informed, for example, that 140 million tons of straws, bottles and other forms of single-use plastic ends up in our oceans each year, and that by 2050, there could be more of this plastic than fish. The good news? Each of us, even those of us who live in the Arizona desert, have the power to help restore the health of our oceans and the animals that inhabit them. Dolphinaris challenges each guest to make a personal commitment to pledge the four R’s:

  • REDUCE the amount of plastic and energy we use
  • REUSE reusable plastic containers
  • RECYCLE everything possible
  • REFUSE plastic straws

Regularly priced at $10, INTO THE BLU can be free or discounted when combined with other Dolphinaris Experiences. Click here to learn more!
